Warwick Johnson Cadwell
Warwick Johnson Cadwell has been drawing stories as long as he can remember: through school, university and all the day jobs he has done.
He has illustrated books for Kane Miller Books, Walker Books, and magazines including New Republic, Fortean Times, and frequent appearances in The Guardian.
Having received enthusiastic encouragement from others through his blog, he began working in comics. Over the last couple of years, his work has appeared in Birdsong, New British Comics, Solipsistic Pop and West comic anthologies.
He produced the comic Derek Danger with his frequent collaborator Robert Ball, The 24 Hour comic Tom Hand, done at the 2014 Lakes Festival, and more recently he has been drawing Tank Girl.
Rob is an illustrator, designer and comic maker, living and working in London. He draws the ‘Beautiful Death’ series for HBO’s Game of Thrones, and is currently working on the covers for the Fighting Fantasy series of gamebooks.
John Higgins career goes back over 40 years as a professional comic artist, he is probably best known for his colour work on Watchmen. He was also involved in Before Watchmen, co-writing and illustrating Curse of the Crimson Corsair in 2012.
John has worked as an artist, and sometimes writer, on such diverse characters as Judge Dredd, Batman, John Constantine and Jonah Hex. He has worked with DC comics for over 25 years, the latest project being in 2016 illustrating ‘Jacked’ written by Eric Kripke. In 2016 and he also found time to illustrate a special set of Royal Mail stamps ready for the 350th Anniversary of the Great fire of London.
John spent the rest of 2016 writing and designing an autobiographical art book ‘Beyond Watchmen & Judge Dredd, the art of John Higgins’ published by Liverpool University Press to coincide with a major retrospective exhibition of his work at the Victoria Gallery and Museum in Liverpool, opened in March 2017 and ran until October 2017.
John Allison is the writer of Giant Days and By Night (for Boom! Box) and the writer-artist of Bad Machinery (for Oni Press), as well as the long-running webcomic Scary Go Round.
The 3x Eisner-nominated and NCS Reuben Award-winning Giant Days has been translated into six languages and adapted into a YA prose novel.
